The Wellbeing Thoughtleaders is a Wellbeing Education Agency providing programs in the form of Keynotes and Seminars, Podcasts, Audio Bulletins, Articles, Blogs and Books. The aim is quite simple. To educate and inspire all people to be able to take complete personal responsibility for their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
The work has nothing to do with “should do” or “should be”. It is enjoyable, useful and interesting education that inspires a desire for learning, growth and personal evolution. Everyone gets there at their own pace.

The Medicine Men
We created The Medicine Men for those men out there who are curious about their own wellbeing and who wish to improve their own lives and then perhaps be able to help others. Some men are deeply interested in physical training or nutritional styles and can become either an inspiring buddy or a pain in the backside to their friends. This program goes way beyond those two realms. Highly structured exercise routines and restrictive dietary practices are not for everyone. There is so much more a man can do to improve his own health and wellbeing, and then, to support other men around him.

John Toomey
John Toomey is an International Speaker, Writer and Thoughtleader.
His background in High Performance Roles in Professional Sport, including Professional Football, both Australian Rules Football and Soccer, and as Coach of an Olympic Gold Medallist, brings richness and depth to his presentations.
He holds a Phys Ed degree from Deakin University, did his Masters Studies in Applied Physiology at Victoria University, studied and taught Human Consciousness as an Avatar Master for 15 years, and has lectured at multiple Universities in PE and Medicine. He served for 5 years on RMIT University’s School of Health Sciences Program Advisory Committee.
He’s delivered over 3,600 Corporate Presentations, spoken at Conferences worldwide, published over 700 articles, completed 4 National Thought Leadership Tours in Australia, and appeared on multiple podcasts globally.

John has been a prolific Fitness Industry Course Creator over the years. Many of the courses he created were the first of their kind, initiating significant professional change that flowed across the industry.
He also served as a Professional Surf Lifeguard in Victoria from 1978 to 1982. In 1983-4 he played in the Victorian Amateur Football Association state team and was selected in the All-Australian Amateur Football Team.
Currently, John is Global Chair of the Global Wellness Institute’s Men’s Wellbeing Initiative. From 2020-4 he served as Global Chair of the Workplace Wellbeing Initiative.
In 2021, he Self Published his second book, “In it for the Long Haul”, a guide for workers and their families on how to create personal success in the Fly In Fly Out working lifestyle. This year a 3rd Edition is being published in North America.
John visits the US 5-7 times each year with his American wife Lassen.
